My First (actual) map

It's fullbright, and it made me wear my sunglasses in order to play it without burning my eyes. Believe us, nobody wants a fullbright map. You should have placed lighting.
Secondly, you should indeed never release your first map. Also, the texturing is really poor. You just took the first texture in the list, and painted it all over the place.
I don't want to discourage you or anything, but you have a LOT to learn. This map isn't really good. Now don't worry, my first map was horrible but since I was very dedicated, I learned, read a lot of tuts, and now I make better maps. I only released a map after 3 scrap-maps though.

Okay, don't release that one. Once it's done, scrap it, and make another better one. Scrap that one too when it's done, and make a YET better one again.
