They made the TV missile really annoying to use. I don't know why they changed it from the BF2 TV missile, it was a lot better. It doesn't even 1 hit kill!

It doesn't though, I've dropped them right in the middle of apc's, tanks and mechs and it doesn't kill them unless they have damage already.

Weird, then every person that I hit with it must have taken quite a bit of damage already then. I've never got a direct hit with anything and not killed it.

The thing is that it has the potential to kill in one hit, but it doesn't right away. It sets you on fire, where as in BF2 if it hits you, you explode and die right away. As if shielding wasn't annoying enough the missiles don't insta kill.

I'm pretty sure it depends on where you hit them. Like I guess if you hit the front of a tank or the top of a walker it might not kill them or just set them on fire.

But if you hit the back or sides of a tank or the legs of the walker theres no way they are surviving unless they shield.

I've never played 2142 but I'd imagine it's like real life (and BF2) in that certain parts such as like the front of a tank (or APC or whatever) have better armor than the rest of it and could better survive a fucking missile hitting it.

In 2142 the HOVERTANKS can be killed in one hit if you hit them in the back. They are pretty much for artillery only, unlike in BF2 where they just destroy everything.

No, not a TV guided missile. Its a fucking AT missile, its meant to blow the shit out of something!

Missiles should instagib vehicles, no excuses
