we can't mod yet because sdk isn't out, but when we can, here's some ideas. remember we have 3 servers, maybe even 4, so we will have different options. i expect to always have a vanilla TF2 server unless the mods are wildly popular.

1. random single class for everyone
everyone on the server is the same class, randomly chosen when map loads. in other words 24 engineers, 24 spies, 24 pyros, etc.

2. lower respawn time
how about zero second respawn?

be cool if someone could make a hunted map

3 or 4 capture points maby, 1 civilian that has to capture them, a team guarding the civilian and a team of assasins to kill the civilian. ( that was always fun in TFC )

there is a .cfg file for "civilian" in the team fortress 2 GCF, looks like they might add hunted some time in the future.

Half the team=Heavy, Half the team=Medic so that everyone pairs up for some insane battles.

Half the team=Demomen and then the other half=Spies.

Someone I pitched this idea to on vent a few days ago also mentioned something where every time you spawned you would spawn as a random class. I'm not sure if that's what happens when you press the random button or not, but if it is, that would make it a lot easier for me to do.

the medic or heavy only thing sounds awesome

the random class thing (not same-for-everyone, just random for each respawn) was tried on a tf server years ago and it just annoyed people but we could try it. no harm in trying except blank's time spent writing it.

demos and spies just sounds frustrating. although if we can do the medic/heavy thing it would probably be easy to try the spy/demo thing too.

all pyros would be hilarious, and like take away their shotgun... or all scouts with just bats :D

I like the really low respawn times and the dak heavies.

Maybe pr0st can model a dp soldier :)

I'm in J2 vent a lot when I play. I've never heard anything relating the HWG to DAK models though.
