Well I can safely say that WotLK is gonna be AWESOME!!!! The achievements thing is gonna make people play 24/7.

I had a beta invite. I upgraded my account. I logged in. I got on a boat to Northrend. I got off the boat in Northrend. I logged out. I gave the account info to bl4nk so someone might get some use out of it.

Seriously, its like the achievements thing on Xbox Live. Like you have to unlock 500 kills, or '500 quests completed' etc. There's so many of them and you get points for each one.

I hate achievements, thats why I'm getting so bored of TF2, any why my score is so low, it's not that I totally suck it's just that everyone else has gay weapons (100% crit on back!? +5 HP from a ranged weapon!? slowing bullets!?).

Games that offer unlocks for achievements get real boring real fast and I hope WoW never offers gear for achievements other wise their 9million fan-base will become a bunch of slobbering zombies and the game will loose out to new games w/o achievements, same thing happened to Halo, they were great until you realized you had to go online to actually brag to your friends then it just started to suck...

I'm all for a little sticker that says you win but full on gear and weapons just ruins the game...

the ONLY game i play for i guess "achievements" is MGS4 the emlbem system i think is awesome. not in wow. i ONLY pvp. pve is for fat ppl. skinthinner smells so on and so forth. SWGEMU> WoW IMO

Idk I really like the XBL Achievement system because it doesn't really give you an advantage, but it lets you know you accomplished something and makes you feel sexy inside.

and the ranking system in COD4 is good and it seems fair.

I agree with TF2 though. I haven't played in ages and I log in and everyone has 1000 hours put in and a bunch of weapon upgrades and I get assraped all day.
