SourceForts blocks for TF2
I've been trying to get models for tf2 to use in joe.to's SF maps for the past week or so, but have still come up kind of short. Is there anyone who would be willing to create these models and compile them into the formats required for hammer? Neelpos has currently made maya files to use, but I'm not sure if the textures are set up correctly or what, and there's the problem of exporting them. If someone has previously made models for hammer, it would be awesome if you could help.

OMFG. I can't believe I never thought of a name like that. Perhaps we'll use it.

That would be kinda cool having a SF TF2 only maps server.

I was more-so thinking Source Forts but instead of shitty HL2:DM you play TF2 after the build phase.
Someone make it happen.

Re: SourceForts blocks for TF2
The problem still stands that it's been definitely over a week, perhaps two weeks, and I still have no block models. I'm going away for a week starting July 3rd and would *really* like to block out the 22 maps I will have ready to block out during that week. Yes, I said 22, and that's only what I've already started. I'm going to put blocks in the maps that week regardless of whether I have a model, but I would really like to avoid putting the blocks in all the maps twice. The models would need to be ready a few days before I leave to make sure we can make them work in-map (the other models didn't take damage, probably a problem with how they were compiled).
I've sent PMs on FPSBanana to the guy who made Aerospace and to some other guy who asked about maps and offered help on models a few weeks ago. The second guy hasn't gotten back to me after 2 days, and I just sent a PM to the Aerospace creator. I'm also going to talk to Mad_Dugan about his Milkshape and see if he can get the blocks.

Re: SourceForts blocks for TF2
I now have models for all the blocks (old Avvatar-block syle) in 3Ds, OBJ, and XSI formats, so they can be opened in SoftImage, Maya, MilkShape, or 3Ds. They need to be UV-mapped, textured, and compiled.
