J2 is slightly more obsessive about shiny stuff so this might not be an acurate representation

however, it definately is above 5%

oh, and some polls on the steam forums go as far as some 75% using the idler ...

Remember that most TF2 players don't post to forums. I'm willing to guess most people don't use Friends/Steam Community either. Of the 5 people I know in-real-life that play TF2, 1 idled, and that one would be the only one to post on an forum bitching about it.

We aren't most gamers.

I guess my point is the 'really' active TF2 Players, the ones most likely to verbally promote the game. They would be the same ones who would hear about idling programs too.

Something odd that happened when I logged on for the first time after Idlecaust. I was on a random server, then about 5 minutes later instantly got back the three items that were gained and lost by idling. Did something like this happen to anyone else?
