I missed the last one (lameness) but there's no way i'll miss abstract night! My Radeon HD4850 has been giving me crap while playing most games for longer than 5 minutes, so i'm going to buy a 9800GTX+ and hope for the best. So for better or worse, i'll have a new GTX+ ready to play by the 2nd.

borrow a computer for a bit, you don't have to install the game

When will you get your ass over to L4D2 and start mapping with us for that?

I want to map for L4D2 more than anything right now. I've pretty much spent all my money as of late on my new computer. On top of buying that GTX+, I also got a new LCD monitor, since my current one is dying. My money is shot at the moment.

Let me know when you're ready for it. As I PMed you months ago, I'd love to do another project with you in it :)

Sure thing! I'll see if there will be anything for me to spare within the next few weeks. If there is, I just may pick it up.

hooded sniper, when it asks for a CD key, figure out a way to open up a web broswer (like if there's a "help" button)

from a web browser you can go File -> Open... and open your desktop folder or anything you may need. I had to do that for about a month when I didn't have an XP key... gl

So I got my new GTX+ in my computer, and put my 4850 on ebay. From the games that i've played, I haven't had any more of those "drivers stopped responding and recovered" errors, even while playing GTA4 and Modern Warfare 2 - the two games that gave me the most trouble. So I should be able to participate with little trouble. This also means that when I do get L4D2, i'll have little troubles running that game as well.

That's good, because I'm really thinking about making a thread about a j2 Abstract L4D2 Campaign

You and NIPPER should probably finish Night Terror first.

I don't think we're gonna do much for it for L4D1. The only thing I would still really like to do with it, is convert it to L4D2 and perhaps change my map a bit so the new Infected can fully use their potential.
But I haven't heard from Nipper in a few weeks now so I have no idea when and if this will be done.
