So are they going to release Onslaught for the PC or just PSN/XBL? This is just what the game needs right now, and I would play the hell out of it.

Onslaught is 4 player co-op vs. bots

it's only coming to consoles for now, PC "at a later date"

just like all the other updates

they said they don't want a bunch of 32 player servers turning into 4 player onslaught servers and making it hard to find a server. sounds dumb to me (who would close a 32 player server to host a 4 player server?) but that's the reason they gave for not releasing it for PC. they said they are trying to figure out a solution and i think we will eventually see onslaught for PC but it might be a while

That's not all it is though. Onslaught is a mixture of conquest and rush. You and your teammates have to push through waves of AI opponents until you get to a certain point. Once you get to that point, you have to hold it for a certain amount of time until you "destroy" it (like the MCOM stations). After the point is destroyed, you move on to the next area to destroy the next point. All while you're sitting there waiting for the point to be destroyed, you go through a L4D-styled "panic event" where enemies rush in at you from everywhere using all types of weapons (snipers, shotguns, rifles, etc) and all types of vehicles. The AI players are supposedly a lot harder to fight off than the single player ones, and a lot more ruthless.
