Fuckin' awesome. Finally, we can play some Ben Folds songs.
I like how it also doubles as a keytar, so you can stand up and play.

Man you said keyboard and I was figuring it would just be a shit 5 button wonky keyboard jr bitch that you'd just have to hit buttons in time w/ like basically just a horizontal keyboard shaped guitar controller. But that is very awesome. I wonder how complicated/accurate the keyboard charts will get because that could be ridiculous and be a whole new super fun thing to learn from like medium on up to expert. I'm pretty excited for that, also good track list so far. Def buying RB3.

Lole.
If that shit plugs into PC and doubles as a midi controller I'll shit my pants w/ joy. I don't see why it shouldn't. Unless they only make a wireless one which would be SHITTY.

Re: new guitar hero controller
big questions of mine that will in my eyes decide whether rb3 will be really good or just okay
1. Can you use other midi keyboards or are you forced to buy that really silly looking one?
2. Are existing songs going to be patched with Harmonies? (I'm guessing not because they lazy)
Also if they are going to have those real guitar instruments, I'd hope they would work with any guitar with an output but I'd guess they wouldn't since the pitch recognition would be really hard. But still for those 5 people out there that have midi guitars that would be cool of they worked since some midi guitars are really good

I think the keyboard in the video is just a prototype.Sizzler wrote: 1. Can you use other midi keyboards or are you forced to buy that really silly looking one?

As far as harmonies go, they'd probably be a ton easier to patch in than keyboard parts, but I still hope they do both.

Re: new guitar hero controller
Silly looking? I see a black rectangle with pretty standard looking 2-octave keyboard setup and xbox buttons on top. What else do you want?
