The engineer on the russian(?) side gets an RPG

What's going to make or break this game is the spotting system. Dice wants to have a team-wide 3d spotting system in BF3, like BC2, but BC2's spotting with 64 players sounds like hell

Maybe it only spots other players within a certain distance?

So is it going to be NATO vs Russia again? No Chinese?

I'm glad that the 2142 classes return. Out of all the BF games, 2142 had the best classes.

Did people not like BC2, I know it removed a lot from the previous games, but it has a lot smoother gameplay (or maybe its just that a have a much better computer and internet connection since BF2).

i liked the bfbc2 engine and gameplay a lot

the content was kind of shallow. most of the competitive clans and leagues dried up within weeks.

So looks like there was no good footage from the live demonstrations, damn. Some info though

Assault uses assault rifles, Engineers get carbines, support's LMGs, Recon only had a sniper rifle for the live demo, but supposedly they will be the SMG class as well. Guns have faction-specific colored bullet tracers, and in general are much less laser accurate than BC2

Knife can be equipped, or there's a quick-knife shortcut key like BC2. It's a one hit kill from behind, or two hit kill from the front

suppression makes it much harder to aim and stops your health from regenerating

you can opt out of being revived. awesome.

Vehicles can be disabled

One of the things that always stood out graphically for me in BC2 was the static lighting, so seeing full dynamic lighting in this game is exciting.

The return of the 2142 class structure is like my fucking prayers being answered. Plus further changes for the classes like more advanced sniping the with the breathing and whatnot, suppressing fire for the support that blurs the enemies vision when they are near it (also gives the support points), and the engineer flashlight being able to blind people in dark? places.

Battlefield 3 Radio Wire Doesn't Connect to anything!
MW3 does 8)

I think it's pretty clear that MW3 is the superior game. No way am I buying BF3 now, no sir.
