That video was so wrong in so many ways...
It's weird that people are freaking out over Blizzard. Their games have been as good as ever. As an example, WoWCata was a HUGE improvement, Blizzard's done some weird stuff with WoW (namely making it easier by removing all the complexity) but the overall gameplay is pretty great.
I think the root of all the recent rage towards Blizzard is that they've essentially ripped "grinding" out of all their games. WoW no longer requires you to jump through hoops to get that one item you want and leveling's faster now. They essentially sped up the beginning and setup of SC2 games. And now D3 allows you to stop grinding for FREAKING SOJ's!!!
I'm not sure what the rage is about, the whole point is that you can just straight to the actual content instead of playing the same level for months.
And last but not least, apparently there IS offline single player, so stop raging over that too:
