How do I get texture packs on minecraft? Ok so ived downloaded Three different texture packs for minecraft from mediafire. The were all Zipped so i unzipped them and now they are just a bunch of files. and i cant get them on Minecraft. ive watched youtube videos on it but i still dont understand it. so if anyone can help me that would be awsome.

You shouldn't have unzipped them. Leave them in the zipped format, then open minecraft, click Mods and Texture Packs, click open folder, once the folder has opened up, put all three zipped files in the folder that minecraft had opened, switch back to minecraft, choose the preferred texture pack and bam!

P.s:
I prefer default. Much nicer than anything anyone else puts out.

Yeahhh, don't unzip them.
Step one: Go to Run (should be in the start menu) and type "%appdata%" (without the quotes). Hit enter.
Step two: Expand the folders Roaming -> .minecraft -> texturepacks.
Step three: Download the texture pack that you want. Don't unzip it, don't modify it.
Step four: From the download folder/list, drag the file you just downloaded into texturepacks.
That's it, it should now show up in the Texture Packs selection screen in Minecraft.
