god I really want to play more Caspian border. I love how pointless it is to attack the radio tower, it's far out of the way and you have to fight through the border checkpoint and sprint across open fields, all the while getting picked off by snipers. after heavy losses, gloriously you somehow manage to neutralize the flag. Then you turn around and see you've lost every other point on the map. Amazing.

some more screenshots of conquest

From the chopper gunner, a pretty good picture of the map layout. The distances between B, C, and D are all pretty short so I mostly stayed that area, running back and forth with my squad defending those three points. Helicopters seemed really weak, tank MGs still rip them apart quickly like they did in BC2. Very few people had helicopter unlocks/knew how to fly though, so who knows

Gunning on the top of B, ("hilltop"). Probably the most important point on the map

I have no idea what this does, but I'm excited about it

just played about 5 rounds, initial impressions

Ok, Battlelog is definitely shit. there is no reason for there not to be a server browser in game. It's fine for stat tracking, and all that shit, but pointless for server management. I was lucky as I got into a server that allowed me to play consistently, but I can DEFINITELY see it being an issue for many people.\

Anyway, onto the main game itself, I loved it. Everything from BC2 was improved tenfold (remember, BC2 was my first Battlefield game, so I can't say whether or not it plays better than BF2 or any of the others). The shooting and movement were so refined I was just really into the game, at one point the flow was so good I got like 10 kills in one life. It was incredibly fun.

The beta did its job in making me want the full game. Even though it will get pushed back until I have both Skyward Sword and Skyrim, I seriously cannot wait to play the finished product. I'll take some of the annoyances to play this game, without a doubt

luv dis game totally gun get it <3<3

Battlelog could be worse. The quick load times lessen the annoyance of it.

Also, penta, what's your soldier name? (Yattabear)

Yeah, while the beta has its problems and battlelog being pretty bad, the game itself is making me want to get the full game.

Also, Yatta, just curious, did you get the 11.7 drivers? Since, IIRC, we have the same GPU and there's a warning that pops up every time I run the beta that I must get it, but it still plays fine with the ones I have.

I need to get a new graphics card to play the full version... >_< I can only run everything at LOW right now, sucks.
I do think the Paris park area is a pain in the butt. It's ESPECIALLY WORSE if there's only 10 people on the server. OMG THE PAIN.
