It's not, your EAID or some other shit sets your Origin name. I've always been Woovie on everything luckily.

This is true. It looks like once people have installed BF3, they are unable to change their name. Hey I don't expect many people, if any, to remember me but I used to post here back in the day. I sent an application to join the platoon under the name TheGreatSpambino. It'd be cool to play with some old j2 people if anyone is still around from the 1.6 days. It's definitely crazy seeing j2 after all these years...
