Just got finished playing this HL2:EP2 mod, link is here. Watch the teaser:

It's really an amazing mod. Scared me bad enough for adrenaline 44 times, and I don't scare easy. The atmosphere is truly amazing; you really can't describe it. In a lot of places it's not as jump-out-at-you scary as much as it is just frighteningly eerie. Especially the fucking mannequins.
There's a few places where I got so involved I started to tense up and lean into my character's motions; shouting with frantic bursts of gunfire, etc.

This game is as terrifying as it is interesting. 10/10 in my book, only cons are the occasionally corny voice acting, and it can be confusing sometimes, but that only adds to the thrill of it all. Absolutely fantastic and you should try it ASAP. Worth the download, 100%.

MAKE SURE YOU START FROM THE PROLOGUE! IMO, the prologue was the scare-densest part of the game. Not to say the rest of the game wasn't scary, but still, play the prologue.
