the survey was kind of dumb. I don't remember my avg dota stats O_O? And they didn't even have an option for if you played HoN or LoL, which is going to play as much a factor as whether or not you play dota1

No, it was "how many hours have you spent playing other RTS games"

Someone who has spent 1000 hours playing starcraft 2 won't be able to walk into dota2 and have a great idea of what he's doing. Someone who's played some dota and has been playing LoL since it came out is going to be able to play dota2 very well- maybe even better than some people porting directly from dota.

Just seemed like they downplayed its importance to me
