remember csde_tropic?

h'ok so, you have this map that everyone loved. then cs version 1.4 comes along and hostages cant swim anymore. making csde_tropic teh suck. anyhow, csde_tropic was like my favorite map on joes server during version 1.3. so i finally got off my lazy ass and fixed it.
its now a de map. ive removed the hostages, added a bombsite at the helicopter and moved the ct spawns to make both bombsites defendable.
bombsite A, is the boat. Bombsite B is the heli.

hopefully we can get some people back on the server to play it with me. you can download the map here

I'm not sure what the map name is (probably cs_docks) but there was a dock map we used to play quite often. I don't know why it doesn't get played anymore, if it has to do anything with changes in the game or not. Anyway, that might possibly a contender to switch around with ripent. Maybe if there is enough interest to make it into a de map and switch the spawn points around I could give it a go.

Also, is it possible to make two different spawn areas for the same team? That way with friendly fire on you could make a DE_TvsT map.

It's on the server by the way - i put it on last night. Ask any admin to put a vote up for the map if you want to play it.

HAHAHAHA, was csde_tropic a good map. If there was a better one i would like to hear it. Such good memories come from hearing that map, one being so freash in my mind is the challange that me and Grayden never did fight on my battleground to see who was on top. I held the title and he wanted it, but we never did fight =(
