How do you view demo's?

First, you register on the forum (Okay, you don't really HAVE to, but why not?). Second, you click the "Search" button at the top of the page and search for the answer to your question.

To view demos put your demo in
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\youraddyhere\counter-strike\cstrike
Then go onto main menu of Counter-Strike, open console and type
"play seriouslythisguyhacks", you just type play then whatever its called.

but put them in your cstrike folder where ever that may be.

you have to type

playdemo demoname

dunno if it still does it in steam but just play never worked in 1.5.

yh on steam in console if u type play then space it automatically changes it to playdemo for you

Unfortunately, I go to type the play command to play music, and it fills it out with playdemo and I get disconnected from servers.

yeah i HATE that, you have to type "playASDF" then space play and ASDF and replace ASDF with the sound.

I just use sk player, I would give the link but im such a lazy bastage and don't wanna look for it. Google it for your best bet.
