WTF!!!

i have created a small starter map and i cant get it to load or what ever when i press f9. i followed a tutorial ( http://countermap.counter-strike.net/Tu ... .php?id=50# ) and it just keeps messing up. when i hit f9 and press go on the thing it says "no such file or directory". it then asks if i want to continue and i just hit ok. i can get the console of half life to come up and act like its gona open the map but it always says map not found on server. i looked all through the help for worldcraft but i have found nothing to help me...plz help....here is the log

Well when you click f9 press expret... then click
$game_exe+map $file -game cstrike -dev -console +deathmatch 1
then press Go...

erm... you have a leak.

if its saying "no such file" then make sure all the directory links are correct in your configuration

fixed the leak (pretty sure) yeah i have steam...i tried to fix the invalid directory thing and now it says "invalid argument" in the same spot the invalid directory was in...log

There, go to your options and fix that, it has a program instead of a directory

thanks that fixed the first and the last problem...but i still have one more...when it goes to cs to try and load the map it says the map is not found on server...do i have to have it saved as .bsp cuz i have it saved as .rmf now...it never told me how to make it change over to .bsp so if i need to do that could you plz tell me??

try just compiling the map in hammer and not running CS. then copy the map to the steamapps/email/counter-strike/cstrike/maps folder and run it normally from steam. you'd want to test it in steam anyway.

And when you compile, it creates the bsp. If you look through your log, you see it copies it somewhere (which I assume is not where you want to copy it).
