A Drug Dealer who does something good with the money, wha?

CHICKASHA, Okla. -- A 74-year-old convicted crack cocaine dealer in Chickasha won't be going to prison.
Lewis said he used the money from selling drugs to buy cancer medication for his wife and to pay her medical bills.
Lewis' attorney said Lewis had never committed a crime in the past and that his wife is now under hospice care and the costs of medication and medical bills are covered.

So he doesn't go to prison since it wouldn't benefit anyone, never commited a crime in the past, and wanted to pay for his wife's medication. That's pretty kickass if you ask me.

That doesn't make sense. He was found dealing crack or cocaine to pay for medical bills for his wife?

I understand that it's helping himself / his wife out with the medical bills, but that's still no reason to hurt so many individuals by giving them drugs.
