Alright folks today ill show you how to download divx videos' from video google.

Step 1: Download and install video google player, also download the video of your choice.

Step 2: The google player should download the video you want to watch .. wait for it to fully download.

Step 3: Go To C:\Documents and Settings\Your Name\My Documents\My Videos\Google Videos. There you should find your file, right click open with WordPad.

Step 4: When the program fully loads up you'll see some random gibberish... or ASCII. ctrl+f or go to Edit>Find

Step 5: Search For "Http"

Step 6: From searching you should find a huge html code ... just copy it.

Step 7: Paste that link into any broswer that you choose (firefox ftw)

He's my friend from school, and told me about this earlier, so I told him to post it here. I thought it was pretty cool, and it works like a charm.

Bump.

Here's an easier way to do this. Bookmark <a href="javascript:if(document.getElementById('macdownloadlink')!=null){window.location.href=document.getElementById('macdownloadlink')}else{alert('Go to Google Video to download videos as AVI.')};">This Link</a> and when you are viewing a Google Video, use that bookmark and it will bring up the download dialogue.

I guess, if there's a way to spoof your browser in windows, you could download them pretty easy. If you could spoof your details to make websites <i>think</i> you were on a Linux machine, clicking on the download button, downloads the video directly. No messing. =)

That's pretty much what my post does. It just grabs the mac download url and gives it to you.
