I know there are a few people with the 360 here. So who is picking up Gears of War tomorrow? Definately the most hyped game on the 360 so far. I got sucked into it and will probally get it tomorrow. Online gameplay with the chainsaw is going to be sexy! :chainsaw:

i dont know i saw the hype but never drew me in watchign the multilayer action looks kinda slow and clunky not fluid

Yeah this game looks freaking amazing. Even the ads on tv look so sweet. some folks say there isnt a point to the new gen graphics without HD, but that is just untrue, it still can look amazing on 480.

wish i had a 360 right about now

whats special about it? i'm not criticizing it, i'm genuinely asking. i've seen TONS of hype for it but all i can get out of the hype is that it's yet another FPS in the humans vs aliens model

Well the graphics are stunning on it for a start Joe. And the reason its been hyped up is mainly for the engine it is using. Which is the new Unreal 3 engine. Also the 1 game responsible for the 360 being designed with 512mb of ram in mind. It was originally gonna have 256 until the developers sent images detailing the differences.

That commercial pisses me off, I fucking hate that song with a passion.

This isn't a case where it turns out it's just an okay shooter like Halo, but everyone says it's great because they've never played any PC FPS before, is it?
