well as long as we have one person organizing the thing as a whole, things should run pretty smoothly. i'm sure there are plenty of j2'rs out there who are dying to put out their ideas, but aren't able to make an entire map on their own.

You can try a group map if you want. Just be sure the person in charge of it knows what they are doing and will be dedicated enough to sew everything together without it sucking. It might work, I think the main problem with paranoid was meeting the deadline and there really isn’t one with this pack.

I’d love to volunteer for the task of putting the pieces together but as of now I am kinda overwhelmed with all the work that needs to be done with my own map.

Yeah, if people decide to make a group map, I'd suggest starting mapping right now, because it takes a lot of planning and coordination. I have too much work with my map too. I need to come up with more ideas for the rooms, need to tile a bunch of my textures, and make more textures because I keep getting new ideas for them.

de_paranoid is different...that was basically my map, and i let ayeyah make the innards of the house and blip made a T spawn...the layout was shit and that was my doing.

de_joeto was cool and all but honestly it wasnt a good map to play....bad layout (me again )

nipper saying he'd be willing to piece together a group map like that sounds great though, i bet he could do a great job with that.

Sure, but you should be a bit more specific. Do you mean I can use ANY dust texture? And what exactly do you mean with adding every letter of the alphabet on single ones? You mean like making the same texture over and over with another letter of the alphabet each time?

I think he wants for you to cut out the middle portion and use it as a background for 26 different textures, each one with a letter of the alphabet on them.

Props to go Archenemy for coming with with the "Car-Garden" or "Carden" idea, among others. There's still a few lighting issues to tweak in this room, but I like the randomness of it.

I know its an abstract theme but can I submit my Halloween map that I SAID I was going to finish but I didn't?
