Failure rate of the PS3 and wii is something like 1% or less. What is it for the 360, think I heard around 33% or so. After my third 360, I said fuck it and bough a ps3, once mikkrosoft comes out with a 360 that is dependable and doesn't break down as often, i'll switch back, or maybe I'll just steam my room mates.

They have a new chipset. Look on the box of the console on the sticker and if it has 175w its good if it is 203w it is bad. PS3 is only good as a bluray player. The pad is cheap and crappy and way too light. Need to order myself a DS3 pad from japan to fix that hopefully they are better. And its best feature is the fact it has an upgradable bluray player.

Otherwise you get bad ports of 360 games which run worse and with crappier image quality. Thats my take on it and I own a PS3. Admittedly I bought mine for a good cheap bluray player. And PS3 failures are rising. A friend of mine is on his 3rd and I know 2 other people on there 2nd.

I played nothing but the PS1 and Ps2 when those were out, and was used to basically nothing but the Dual shock pad.

But when I got my 360 it took me about 2 minutes to get used to the controller, and now I very much prefer it. It fits my hands so much more comfortably, and I really prefer the location of the thumb sticks.

What's it similar to? Dreamcast? I dono I only played one of those once like 10 years ago.

But either way, it works.

Yeah, basically the exact same layout as the Dreamcast controller, only with a battery cartridge on the back (if it's wireless) instead of a gimmicky memory card with a screen.
