de_haunts crashes when run in gmod

hey, i asked some friends who didnt have the problem, but for some when you run de_haunts in gmod something about the skybox i think (the crash only happens outside not inside) makes the game crash, giving the following error:

failed to lock vertex buffer in cmeshdx8 lockvertexbuffer

anyone know the cause?

other specs:

4 gigs ram

geforce 9800 gt

intel i5 quad @ 2.67

never had it crash but would like to see some more WDW maps!
