I've yet to have any good games though, usually they are a steam roll or I am steam rolled. Also the capture points, on the maps I've played at least, are all in the middle. Which makes it kind of boring in my opinion because there isn't any incentive to push into enemy territory. You just need to camp the middle.

if you camp at the middle as allies you'll get raped by axis tanks+artillery

as axis you'll have a harder time getting the middle because allied infantry's better early on

american infantry > german infantry
american tanks < german tanks


also we should have a J2 game
depending on how many people play, 2v2 or 3v3

and if you don't like the caps you can always disable them, right?
at least in custom games you can

the cool thing about parachute dudes is i can refill the squad anywhere, any time in a few seconds. so they stay at 6/6 unless they are completely ambushed and surrounded

also what is the benefit of a unit with a higher rank? i can't find info on that anywhere. there are 4 ranks so i would think the top rank (3 dots) is much better but they don't seem to kill any faster or die any slower than rank 0 units

I just go german infantry all the way. Grenadiers with rocket launchers are just a big cloud of rape. Then any support they have makes it even better.

if you're talking about veterancy (normal units get it, americans by fighting etc, germans by research)
well, the get generally better
bit more hp, better accuracy, some other stuff (german tanks get a MG gunner on vet 1 or 2, i forgot

if you're talking about levels (hero units get it by killing crap)
well, it depends on the hero unit
what each level gives you is explained if you hover your mouse over their icon in the menu



and yes, panzershreks are made of rape

halftracks with AA guns and HMG crews make short work of them though


my favorite infantry's the terror commander
he rapes entire squads by himself, and when he's nearly dead, just leave him alone for a sec and his health regens faster than you can say "woah"

ok, is not that hard. Just move your troops and cover the flanks. Make a lot of anti-tanks machinery and your good. Use mines on the roads to blow up some tanks too.

man fuck this motherfucking mission, i just failed 3 times in a row. not even close. that brings me to something like 0/11.

tried 3 different things:
set up a base at HQ and try to defend first enemy wave then push out and try to cap. first wave kills everything but 4-5 units. enemy already has 3/4 points capped. try to make more units while existing units push out to cap, but 2nd enemy wave wipes out base and all i have are a few units running around which are quickly killed

set up a base on mountain top. easy to defend, i can hold all 4 points. enemy destroys my HQ which means i can't make any more engineers which means i can't repair anything which means buildings gradually get destroyed and then it's game over.

push out fast with starter units, easily capture all 4 points. meanwhile first enemy wave of several tanks and squads of infantry destroys my entire base, i have no capacity to repair or rebuild, game over.

i don't get wtf i'm supposed to do.
