Listeningroom

Post by pepper » Sat Jan 15, 2011 11:16 pm

cool site that lets people join a room and select music from their computers
It's pretty glitchy so some of the songs don't work all the time

come join me: http://listeningroom.fettig.net/room/joe.to

Let's set some rules if anyone sees this
1. Don't Skip other people's songs, there is a Mute button, just use it and go do something else.
2. Don't upload a bunch of songs at once, the site lags a lot, it may crash, keep it to around 3 please.

I'm tired of seeing the radio friendly bands 'coldplay, gorillaz, B.o.B'
let us see some stuff that people haven't heard of.
When I stumbled upon the site I was in a room where people were introducing me to good music that I had not heard of like The Horrors and Japanadroids.
Let's try introducing some good music that isn't a top 20 hit.

if it's likely everyone in the room has the song, don't bother uploading it :)

Yeah, if there were admins that had more control over this it would be super awesome.

Great find, pepper. Thanks for sharing it with us. :D
