Very true and very sad... But you seem to be forgetting this:

90,000–166,000 killed in Hiroshima
60,000–80,000 killed in Nagasaki

That's ONE HUNDRED times the amount killed in Pearl Harbor. Literally One Hundred. Not to mention that the % of civilians was probably vastly higher from our retaliation than their attack on us. I'm not saying that either side is right or wrong in this but to insinuate that the recent earthquake is Japan's justice is highly offensive and wrong. Thanks

problem is that earthquakes are far more frequent there & they're probably reacting how they normally would. The video is of the early seconds of the quake & they do run out eventually.

Anyway, those nuclear power plants aren't a threat, the oil refineries burning are a bigger issue.

I don't think those refineries actually have anything to do with our own oil supply, it's just terrible for Japan's- in addition to those burning chemicals being hazardous for the environment and not helping an already terrible situation. It'll probably be a good excuse for oil companies in the U.S. to raise gas prices, though.

Also the fact that Pearl Harbor was a military attack on a military target, whereas we bombed two civilian cities. I've had this argument way too many times over the last week.

I laughed at the "what did the tsunami say to Japan" joke. Am I evil?
