He couldn't swing you a couple free passes or w/e?
We are the music makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams, Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;—World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams: Yet we are the movers and shakers Of the world for ever, it seems.

Personally, I would pay for a GSL channel if they have the big eSports competitions, like CoD, Starcraft I&II, Counter-Strike, and fighting games. It would have to be done right though, not like G4 tv which started out ok and then tanked.
Also, Starcraft is fantastic to watch if you actually know what is happening, just like anything, especially the good players.

I could never get into watching any kind of sport. It was boring and it just made me want to play, or discourage me from playing ever since these guys are so good at it...especially with the fighting game stuff.

Brood War was always entertaining to watch for the big battles that could take up the whole center of the map. mass dragoons or hydras took up a ton of space, and they'd attack in one epic line battle that's like two screen lengths long. SC2 is turning out a lot entertaining now that there's maps that are bigger but still have lots of interesting terrain for units to micro around. Wide open spaces aren't as necessary as they were in brood war imo
