You're right, killing Osama Bid Laden did nothing. Sure, he was responsible for dozens of terrorist attacks, but that was years ago, now he's just an old man, so there's no point in bringing him to justice, I mean the past is the past, right?

just saying, killing him really has lost his glory

the next year would have been cool
now you can call it justice, but it's not nearly as important since (did you even read my post by the way?)

Killing him totally wouldn't send a huge moral blow to extremists either, I mean that would just be silly.

it IS however, good for the morals of the people, and that shouldn't be underestimated, but personally i think the only achievement would be that terrorism stopped, which, again, isn't a reason to stop pursuing the leaders

the inverse goes for the other "team", i thought that was clear

joe's point is really simple and logical.


As long as there are evil people in the world, there is no reason to celebrate stopping one of them. bin Laden was bad but now he is gone. But since there are more bad guys to be taken out we can't be happy until all evil is gone from the world.

No matter how many more bad guys there are, I still think it's worth celebrating that we got the one that has haunted the American psyche for a decade.
