The last major update before Minecraft leaves beta and is officially released is the adventure update. It is rumored to contain over 40 new features.
- NPC villages
- Randomly generated dungeons
- New biome code
- Fully working Creative Mode (and individual admins can enter Creative Mode on a Survival Mode server if they choose)
- Critical hits
- Sprinting
- More farming options

Even though I have Minecraft and only played it for about 5 minutes i'll wait till it is officially released before I start playing it.

You know? I was just started playing minecraft again yesterday, then I saw this update. Now I don't feel like it's worth playing until it comes out.
