I expect I will buy it, but I will still play LoL, whether I play as much as I do now depends on how good DOTA2 is

And joe said he'd pay for half of my DotA2. But now that seems like it may not happen.CheeseRocks wrote:I expect I will buy it, but I will still play LoL, whether I play as much as I do now depends on how good DOTA2 is

You were all over me to register #dota2 on gamesurge. I didn't give a fuck. You told me you'd pay for half my DotA2 if I did it. So I registered it.

Yeah well, I figured at the time that it would never happen. But even the chance was worth the minimal effort to register the channel.
At least now I know and can stop idling in that channel.

Re: LoL when DotA2 arrives.
I think my enjoyment of DoTA2 lies in the balance of a few factors namely:
-offensive/defensive gameplay balance (Am i going to regret moving out past the middle of my lane more often than not?") Example: LoL started as a very offense oriented game, but has since been toned down, requiring more defensive play.
-Any kind of meta-game system (or lack thereof)
-Originality of champion content, what's being brought to the table that is new?
Overall I'm not psyched about it or anything, but then again, I'm never a hype-er anyway.

In some other time and space, I found time for a new signature.

Re: LoL when DotA2 arrives.
I remember how LoL was offensive back in the low leveled days, but really is a strategy game at higher levels.

Re: LoL when DotA2 arrives.
the channel no longer belongs to you btw, i guess when a channel is empty for a while it is deleted. i went there last week and it was empty. now it has 20+ people and belongs to someone i never heard ofAvvatar wrote:At least now I know and can stop idling in that channel.

Re: LoL when DotA2 arrives.
I know. I didn't idle it for 2 weeks, it expired. Someone else registered it. I told you several times way back when, and again more recently, that I don't really care for that channel. Only ever registered it because you were going to pay for half my copy. Of course, now it seems the game will likely be free anyway.
