It doesn't say it's DotA2. But DotA2 makes sense.

I suspect TF2 free-to-play was their testing of this model, to see if it could work, so that then they can decide on doing it for Dota 2

i dont see why or how dota2 would be free to play, unless you have micropayments per game (like spiral knights) or you buy heroes (like lol) and i definitely dont see either one happening.

Alt-character skins would be the equivalent of hats in this case.

eh of course i could be wrong and this is based on nothing at all but i just don't see them copying the LoL model. it made sense for LoL but, i dunno it just doesn't seem like the kind of game where people will care about or pay for skins. i guess we will see. i should actually hope it is free because it will be hard for me to buy all the games i want this winter. i just don't think it will be.

I like the LoL skins alot. I mean its like you can pay for the game to be sexeh & all dat, but it doesn't actually improve the gameplay itself, wich is an aspect I really like. I mean I'm not the person who spends money on extra content, but since it doesn't actually improve your power, I'm not obliged to buy it.

Paying for extra power & anything of the alike is bullshit, anyways.
