It's 2011, 2gigs of ram pretty much bottlenecks the shit out of you no matter what you're playing. Luckily I have 8 gigs arriving on the morrow. OOH plus it's payday and I'll have drugs again. It will be a good day.
RE: the suggestion to put up an NS1 server, PLEASE do this. I will play like everyday. I don't have NS2 yet, but I fucking love NS and would love to get back into it. Sometimes it's hard to find a server, last time I picked it up again there were only 2 very active servers (EVOLVE and BAD) but they were always either completely empty or completely full. The rest of the servers just run bots or shitty siege maps.
I dunno about running one constantly, but I'd like to at least run it as an event from time to time. Need to figure out what kind of resources it takes when it's full and all that jazz.
