I am so unbelievably bad at this game. Losing three games in a row is painful, especially when each one is about an hour long. Every game I've played so far seems somewhat close until later in the game, I feel like I do a pretty good job of laning and pushing, then the enemy carries just completely annihilate us. What are some good heroes to use to shut down physical carries that build Sange & Yasha and such?

Recent game I just had, did really well as Huskar. He's a really easy hero to play too.

Echoing this, just played Huskar and had a lot of fun. Me and Jager dominated our lane (after struggling for the first few minutes) and managed to turn the game around despite the other two lanes failing miserably, and made Windrunner ragequit. So many escapes/kills with less than 50 HP remaining, Huskar is nuts.

i'm at a good win-lose ratio, but fuck this (sorry mindflayer) but i'm never playing support again until i can (ab)use the game well enough

context: me and mindflayer (and some other j2ers i think, rat was there in at least one) played some games a few days back, and i basically chose a random hero each time (support every time of course) and i basically had to deny creeps and harrass the enemy, result: my lanepartner got epicly overfed and we won every time but it was boring as hell for me with no money and >9000 deaths, this would probably be fun if i didn't suck at last hitting/denying and wasn't playing a new hero each time, but for the moment, never again

apart from that, a bad carry (curse you drow ranger from last game!) can definitely cost you the game, certainly if some players just don't get that they need to be with their team during teamfights (curse you faceless void from same game!)
3v5 isn't fun :C
