Bought Borderlands 1 when a friend told me about it. I shrugged it off until he told me, and when I bought it, I fell in love. Such an awesome game.

FPS game with RPG elements such as leveling up, skill trees, and a weapon generating system with so many possibilities it is unlikely you will ever run into the same gun twice unless it's a quest reward.
Got an amusing brand of humor throughout and is ultimately the most fun I had with a multiplayer game that year.

Borderlands 2 is going to be a rare day-1 purchase for me.

It does seem like they are at least making fun of it in the trailer, at least. maybe they only put it for the trailer ironically and the real game will have real music

I bought Borderlands the day it came out, and I didn't regret it. I'm sure there will be some bugs at launch (there certainly were the first time around), but it didn't take long for them to patch it. Looks fun, I will most likely buy.
