Yeah, it's true. I wouldn't recommend watching 8 without watching 7. It has some big spoilers and if you watched 8 first it would absolutely ruin the whole number 7.
It took me a while to find number 7 (wtf? it was one of the best ones) but here's the link. Sorry for not responding right away.

7's special effects are so awesome it's like Star Trek mixed with the SSAE miniseries. Can't wait for the season finale.
