MC2 online

Post by Eviltechie » Sun Jul 28, 2013 3:47 pm

I've put mc2 back online.

I've also replaced the "ask an admin for worldguard" with mandatory grief prevention. Use a golden shovel to claim land and a stick to view claims. You must claim land before you can build. This should more or less end griefing.

Use /help griefprevention for commands.

Also, we have a dynmap.

Is their a limit to how much land you can claim, both in size of single plots and number of plots(guessing one)?

You can claim as many plots as you want, but you are limited to the total size. You start out with 3000 blocks and gain 300 per hour of playing. If you need more, ask an admin and we can grant extra.

Also, you can't unclaim land, so plan ahead.

Just wondering Techie, how long do you think it will be before mc4 can go online? I don't mean to seem impatient if I'm coming across like it, I'm just genuinely curious.

Maybe I'll put it up on Thursday when I'm not working.

Good news: Everybody is now trusted.

Also, you have access to /gm if you don't want to be in creative mode.

Are you sure this is wise? I mean it will be very easy for griefers to spam water and lava now and idiots to make massive redstone contraptions.

Would placed water/lava leak out of the grief prevention, in the case that a griefer claimed and near sppawn and screwed it up a lot?

That's one of the awesome features of Grief prevention. It wont. It also blocks stuff like growing trees, pistons (and though disabled, explosions and other).

they disabled growing trees? I have to say that is a little annoying, as sometimes you just need trees to decorate a place...

I think it just doesn't allow non-auth players to use bonemeal, buckets, etc. in the area and denies source blocks not contained within the area to spread into said area.

Ah, I see. Well thanks for clearing that up, I thought it'd be a bit odd if they had totally disabled growing trees.

Techie, any more estimates as to mc4?
