Whole 'l4d3 leaked' situation and thoughts on it?

Recently there's been talk about how progress on l4d3 was leaked including how it would be on the Source2 engine. Nothing has been confirmed and this may not be true, however I'd like some input on it. Do you think it's true? Would you like a third left 4 dead game? If it were true, what would you like to see in it?

I'm not saying I believe this is true, but it brings up a chance to think about it

The alleged image, taken during a recent tour of Valve, supposedly Mr. Daniel J left his internal email open and a visitor snapped a picture of it.


Several emails from a Mr. Ted Carson tagging the subject line with [Source 2] (The engine already well known to be in development, confirmed by Valve themselves), the second and third emails from Carson mention L4D3.

Making Horde Mode games is relatively easy, since you don't have to come up with things like a plot, and can just focus on making it fun and co-operative, so it makes sense this would be done before hl3

What's funny is that the L4D series does have a fairly cohesive plot, that runs from campaign to campaign, as well as what happens between them. Nothing like Half Life of course, but there certainly is a plot. Also the main problem with L4D3 being done before HL3 means that literally three L4D games will have come out between HL2: Ep2 and its sequel.
