World of Warcraft
Okay I know Most people here Have Probably Heard or have Played World of Warcraft Before. But The only Reason I'm making this Topic is to find out First what Lured People into the Warcraft Universe in the First place, Why People (Or yourself) Left WoW after so long, and what you think Blizzard could do to bring people back. Also if you want you can say Which Trailer or Expansion you liked the most and why. But please be serious about this as I just want people's opinion about The Game. Also for those who Haven't Played for a While, you are sure missing out on some stuff.

Re: World of Warcraft
I got it a few months after it came out. I had friends who were playing it that seemed to really be enjoying it- the concept seemed really cool. The game, the first time through, was exciting, challenging, and mysterious to 7th/8th grade me. I played it all the time, started raiding in Molten Core and didn't go all too far... hopped guilds and servers, had periods where i'd quit and then come back a few weeks later. I played BC when it came out and raided in Karazhan mostly unsuccessfully. Sold my account and made a new one for WOTLK after it had been out a while. I got cataclysm about the time that it came out.
In all, I never really had as much awe and excitement about the came as I did during vanilla WoW. I'm sure there were tons of periods of boredom in Ironforge just jumping around and trying to think of fun things to do but the 40 man raiding experience was just awesome for me. They made stuff easier and more time efficient and in doing so allowed people to burn through the game a lot faster it seems.
There will never be an MMORPG just like WoW with the same success because of the high precedents that have been set through WoW. I think there may be other MMO games that have huge success but probably not any that still use the WoW model.

Re: World of Warcraft
I've played these game for like 2 years, and I love IT. If it wasn't that I haven't been able to play becuase of my schedule and school, I will still be playing. I really recommend this game. People may say its shit, but after you played it for 1 month, its amazing.
Nothing to see here.
