Best coming out story: Gone Home.

Best father-daughter story: The Last of Us.

2nd best father-daughter story: BioShock Infinite.

Best episodic game that won't release all promised episodes in 2014: Kentucky Route Zero.

Worst mission design: GTA V.

Best soundtrack: GTA V.

Best driving: GTA V.

2nd best driving: Need for Speed Rivals.

Best Music Game that came out in 2012 I mostly played this year: Dyad**, Sound Shapes***, Retro/Grade**.

Best racing game: Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed**.

Games I still need to play: too many.

**PC version came out in 2013.
***PS4 version came out in 2013.

Technically it was ported to PC this year and was recently re-released as Skullgirls:Encore due to a bunch of legal troubles. Now i love skullgirls and still play the shit out of it, but it came out in 2012 for consoles so :/

BioShock infinite turned out to be a pretty mediocre game so it's out of the running for me. Honestly, A Link Between Worlds is my Game of the Year. Ignoring my obvious love of the franchise, it really is an EXCELLENT game that showcases a return to Zelda's exploration-based roots. If you took the freedom of the original Legend of Zelda and dumped it into A Link to the Past's world, you'd end up with ALBW.

Pretty much had a smile on my face the entire time I was playing it, and for me, that's what makes it goty.

Best Games That i replayed this year were Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and Kirby 64 The Crystal Shards. No other games that i played or came out this last year were anywhere near as fun.

My pick would be Tomb Raider with Call of Juarez: Gunslinger being a close second. I didn't play many new games this year. Blood Dragon and XCOM: The Bureau were great too.

CoD:Ghosts and BF4 were both a fucking mess.
