Perhaps if I dig into the source code and find a fix for it and hand it to them on a silver platter, they'll actually use it?

Some guy on Reddit made a GTA Vice City map and claims to have a fix for the game crashing on player disconnect. He'll only tell people what it is after his map is released though.

Yeah he's basing it off the vscripted vehicle examples that were posted a while ago. Was the next thing I was going to look into. He still mentions it's buggy though.

People will barely be able to making vehicles with scripts though, since you need to create the model which isn't just static, but also supports rotating wheels, steering, etc. That's the reason I went after 'simple' entities first =/
