We just play it cause fuck it we don't want to play dota2 or lol, and it's fun, pretty sure all of us would love a game with a larger J2 presence and servercount anyways, but until then, we will continue our search for Virgil.

Yeah, you should fix that. All of you should fix that. It'll make it easier to fill up the lobby when we get things started and at least it's not mobas fuck mobas shut up.

A pity, though understandable. Would it be possible to get a download link for the world file from the last incarnation of the server? I never did manage to find those other two volcanoes.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the joe.to minecraft server staff for the time and resources they have poured into making j2 minecraft a unique experience. I look back and realize that when I first came onto the servers, I was in awe of how many people came together to build lego's on the internet. I met some great friends, and wasted many hours both playing and administrating on J2. I was slightly jaded in the end of it all, but I will always remember the golden age of minecraft, when the simplicity of the gameplay and social interactions gave us something to do when we probably should have been studying.
