Alrighty, so, this has happened to me before and I googled it, and found nothing really helpful and just went and did something else. I figured since this is a joes map i seem to be missing thought i'd post and see if anyones got an idea about whats up. So the map just went from Yukon to Aerospace and it tells me missing map. This has happened before like i've said, and its been a while since what ever map it was happening before on has appeared on the vote or it corrected itself one or the other. Anyone got any idea whats up or how to fix it or get the map?

I think I've had this issue before:

What you can try is downloading and unzipping the map file and manually moving the .bsp to the tf maps folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\. You can find a list of all the current maps on rotation here: http://www.joe.to/servers/maps.php?id=20 and simply click the one you're missing which in this case is ctf_aerospace_b4.zip. Googling it will generally turn up a few seperate links to download the map; it'll usually be located under sites such as tf2maps and gamebanana.

Here are two seperate links you might wanna try out:

http://forums.tf2maps.net/showthread.php?t=6121

http://tf2.gamebanana.com/maps/download/73575

Hope this helps!

I have had to do this multiple times with a few different maps. Its actually faster doing it this way than downloading the map from the server.

7zip it is better than winrar and free/opensource

Also do not run XP it will be a malware magnet, more so then now, once support is dropped.

windows 8 is awesome on the behind the scenes stuff, but windows 7 is a lot more familiar for people coming from XP. Windows 8.1 and 8.1.1 help alleviate the changes that deter older windows users, but they are coming out with an additional update to truly bring back the start menu as a smaller version of the startscreen currently in windows 8.

I HIGHLY suggest any one using windows Vista or greater get into the habit of hitting the windows key/start menu and start typing what you are looking for rather than hunting and pecking your way to success.

i might just get windows 8 to go on my desktop to match my laptop then.
