Custom Map Request Thread - PLEASE READ FIRST POST

Let's keep discussion to a minimum in this thread.

PLEASE follow these formats AS CLOSELY AS POSSIBLE (bullets are optional, but keep the order):

If you would like a map added/updated:
  • Server Name (tf4.joe.to, tf5.joe.to)
  • Map Name (full name. eg. cp_monopod_a11 not just cp_monopod)
  • Download link*
  • Map specific settings (should FF be turned off, longer/more rounds, etc.)
  • A short description (optional)
  • For fastest service, have a direct link to the map and a bziped version.
*PLEASE, if possible, provide a link from a map hosting site with screenshots and reviews. It can help us decide if hosting a huge filesize map will be worth it.


If you would like a map removed/changed (like map specific settings):
  • Server Name
  • Map Name
  • Reasons why it should be removed/changed

payload map designed w/highlander in mind. still in alpha, so no fancy textures or anything. looks fun/balanced, and I always like to see new pl maps added

also, can we get a runoff vote system added? I've seen this on other servers and it's so fucking useful. no more will we have winning votes that have fucking 33% of the vote. I think it will lead to better/more popular maps being chosen instead of some fringe candidate map winning

@mbaxter, I just pulled it up and I didn't have any problems. of course, that's with 1 person instead of a whole server's worth, but still. very good looking map

Just added the rest of the decent maps from the Mercs Vs Aliens mapping contest for us to try. This includes

Also added sd_congo_a4 to test. From testing last night, pl_everest_v3_b4 won't be added to rotation, but pl_lasti_rc3 seemed to play well and will be added. Dmitri, I will process the rest of those maps in the next day or so.

very cool looking pl map. reminds me a little of badwater. kinda intricate map design, but doesn't seem overly confusing. not sure if the weird particle effects were supposed to be there, a computer bug, or alcohol induced (don't drink and test maps, kids), or a combination of all 3.
