Weapon and Cosmetics Effects - request here!

Who can get an effect?

There are two ways to get the fancy effects:

1) Be a joe.to donor. Our community runs off contributions from our members. Click here for more information. Donors can have any weapon or cosmetic (limit 3 total) given an effect.

2) Have a reserve slot on our servers (Free! Instructions here!) and have the highest possible ranking of a Strange item (limit of 3 total items). That includes these ranks:

• Hale's Own
• Mann Co. Select
• Hale's Custom
• Saxton's Own
• Mannceaux Signature Collection

How do I request my effect?

1) Consult this item list and acquire the item ID you wish to have an effect.
2) Consult this particle list and acquire the particle ID you wish to have.
3) Create a post and copy in the following:

Item name:
Item ID:
Effect name:
Effect ID:

Here's an example:

Item name: Sandvich
Item ID: 42
Effect name: Circling Heart
Effect ID: 19

As an added bonus, weapons also have the Midas touch (Note: Does not work with all weapons)


What's the catch?

While your item has a particle effect attached to it, your item will not update stats like kills, points, etc.

Also, some particles look wonky. Keep that in mind. If you are unsatisfied with your particle effect, just ask for it to be changed.
