I would like to play if I could build peacefully without getting skullfucked. I really enjoy the concept of a scattered community, doing their own stuff and occasionally interacting peacefully (Not griefing, raiding, random PvP, etc.)

Lol, too bad but the server is currently on factions gamemode, so pvp, griefing and raiding is allowed.

If you manage to get enough people to have on a creative server or another type of gamemode with peaceful areas, let me know.

I went ahead and resurrected Gamergroup to play on here, but seeing as the server is mostly empty I was wondering whether the server is advertised/listed anywhere besides on here?
Because even though it might be a pain in the ass, the new kid players that look through Planetminecraft, the Minecraftserverlist and whatnot for a "H4rdcore PvP Serverz" are what made the game fun. (Atleast for me.)
I don't think it's realistic to keep the interest for the game if we only ever see the same old members we know (who won't know the server is back, because most probably quit the forums when Minecraft died in the first place.)
I realise this server was not an attempt to bring back Minecraft back as a whole, but if we're gonna have some fun we need some fresh meat. Raiding you guys isn't fun when you don't log on and see what we've done to your bases. (No hard feelings right?)

Tl;dr
Bring back the kingfishy

PS: Might still be possible to catch old players trough the Steam group and by making people tell people.

Just a thought: Maybe do simple events from time to time? The building game? Fight Night? INB4 "why not just play on MINEGAMEROLEPLAYMEGAALLMODFURYCRAFT.NETCOMORGGOV you Philistine?!" Because it would be fun to play togethers with J2 peeps.

BTW I'm still building dumb blocky stuff. But this was one of my favorite iterations of J2 servers...
