I wound up getting the bundle from gamestop that had Lego Undercover, Zelda, the Zelda Expansion and Has Been Heroes that was the exact total retail cost of everything about a month after release when I realized finding one was going to continue being fucking impossible for months to come. It arrived like 2 days after I ordered it w/ the colored joycons and everything and I was super happy with it even tho I had to drop a stupid amount of money at once. I was about ready to pay 400 for one by itself from a stupid amazon reseller so I was pretty okay with spending like 475 and getting all that.

I sold has been heroes to aidan at cost and traded lego undercover towards Mario kart once I got bored of that so it all worked out pretty well and now I have a super sexy switch to play.

indie games on the switch that I have:

thumper:

I love thumper, goty 2016, just as good on the switch as ps4.

snake pass:

there are some performance issues (first UE4 switch game), but snaking around as Noodle is hella fun.

the f-zero-like game:

so it's not as good as wipeout: hd or anything but it's pretty fun.

the pro controller:

hot take: I like the joycon button d-pad in thumper and puyo puyo tetris more than the pro controller. I hope to get that splatoon pro controller but I've already accepted I'm going to miss the 10min when it is on sale.

did my dock scratch the tablet screen:

yes, I called nintendo, sent the dock and the tablet to them, got the screen fixed (took a week)

mario kart with single joycons:

with the top part connected, wasn't that bad.

charging the switch on non USB power delivery chargers
charges fine (~1% every 2min) on an ipad charger with a usb old to usb c cable

ethernet dongle
with the same USB dongle I used for the wii-u, plugged into the dock, "switches" over from wifi-to-ethernet as soon as you dock it.

Recently got back into Zelda and finished all the shrines. Still need to do last dungeon and boss. Waitin on that Mario Odyssee release. Also preordered Samus edition 3DS and gonna buy Samus Returns on release day and rly pumped for that. Will be my 1st 3DS.
