Smissmas is Coming.

Alright Alright the Halloween update has come and the items are awesome. But what will Valve do for this years Holiday event? Smissmas is on it's way shortly and I would like to know what you guys think.


I've never really gotten into the first Smissmas event, but the last two have gotten my attention fairly well. If anything else to unbox my own strange festive.

Have you ever unboxed your own strange festive, or did you buy it from someone else?

I've been having a thought about what festives they should be this year. The first year was the basic stock of most classes. Second year, a much shorter variety and some weapons I don't even use, but here were my thoughts for this coming year

Scout : Festive Sandman/ Force-a-Nature
Solider: Festive Market Gardener/Direct Hit
Pyro: Festive Degreaser
Demo: Festive Loch N' Load/ Eyelander
Heavy: Festive Fists/ Huo Long Heater
Engineer: Festive Gunslinger/ Widowmaker
Medic: Festive Kritzkrieg
Sniper: Festive Machina/Bushwacka
Spy: Festive Enforcer

Which weapons are you hoping will become festive?

A buddy of mine may or may not be in the vouch in making some Smissmas related maps. I hear rumors though but I'll keep you guys posted.

Why do you keep making new threads for useless things? You could just make a Smissmas update hype thread. : /

I doubt they'd make a festive version of the super high value stranges like the kritz or gunslinger. I'd expect something more along the lines of a crossbow/jag. That being said, they did make festives of the huntsman and the mackerel, so who knows.

Last year they made a festive strange huntsman, at the least I wouldn't be surprised to see one or two high value stranges made festive.

I guess what I mean by high value is >1 bud like the kritz or gunslinger. I wouldn't be surprised if they did, but I'd be a little upset if the value of my strange gunslinger took a big hit.

I think it would be cool if they made a festive sapper that covers sentries and dispensers in tinsel and light-bulbs when they were being sapped.
